David Jenkins Jr., 65, of Emmaus, died March 17, 2013, as a result of a fire. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late David and Helen (Fennell) Jenkins.

He was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus.

He is survived by a daughter, Nancy of Doylestown. He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Melissa Ann Twining and her son, Montana James Twining.

A combined memorial service for Melissa, Montana and David was celebrated Sunday, March 24, in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home P.C., Emmaus.
