The annual Robert Lasso Memorial 5k run will be held at 8:30 a.m. April 20 at the Bethlehem YMCA, 430 E. Broad St. Registration begins at 7 a.m. Packets are available from noon to 8 p.m. April 19 at the YMCA. Non-runner donations are accepted.

Freemansburg police officer Robert Lasso was shot and killed on August 11, 2011, while responding to a disturbance call in the borough. He is survived by his wife and two young children. Proceeds from the run will be donated to the Robert Lasso Memorial Fund.
