Harry A. Strohl Jr.
Harry A. Strohl Jr. 73, of Orefield, died peacefully March 19, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife Anne M. (Mulligan) Strohl celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary last Dec. 13.
Born March 23, 1939, in Orefield, he was the son of the late Harry A. Sr. and Mildred (Henry) Strohl.
He was a sales representative for Mack Trucks Inc., World Headquarters, formerly in Allentown, for 30 years before retiring in 1993.
He also worked part time at Sears Tire and Battery, Whitehall, for 12 years before retiring in 2005.
A member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, he was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Allentown.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Catherine A. Schlosser and husband, Paul, of Orefield, Anne L. Brudelie and husband, Jay, of Allentown, Mary J. Sorrentino and husband, Tony, of Schnecksville, Margaret M. Strohl Lehrman of Allentown; brother Dale and wife Janice, of Fogelsville; sister Jackie Weil and husband Roy of Orefield; 12 grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters.
He was predeceased by a son, Harry A. "Bruzzie" III and sisters Gloria Sutton and Elaine Jones.
A private service will take place in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Schnecksville, with the Rev. Joseph J. Kweder officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
