Debra E. "Deb" Gombert, 42, of Allentown, formerly of Whitehall Township, died suddenly on March 9, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Gerald E. and Renee E. (Stout) Gombert of Whitehall.

A member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, she was a 1988 graduate of Whitehall High School, where she excelled in softball and basketball.

She later attended Shippensburg University.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by brothers Eric G. and his partner Matthew Chegezy of Souderton, and Kevin W. and his wife Jeneanne (Krempasky) of Slatington; maternal grandmother Marjorie E. Stout of Lehighton; aunts; uncles; cousins and their families; her little cat Bella.
