BETHLEHEM: HBP Events set for March, April

Historic Bethlehem Partnership will hold a chocolate event between noon and 4 p.m. March 23 and 24 at the Visitor's Center and 1810 Goundie House, 505 Main St.

The Magic of Chocolate magic performances and a visit from Peter Rabbit will be held at 1 and 3 p.m. each day. There will be interactive demonstrations about the history of chocolate, making chocolate the colonial way and displays traditional chocolate making equipment.

There will be free access to HBP museums and special events from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 6 for community day. Children's free activities include dressing up in Civil War costumes, making Moravian stars and tin punch ornaments, meeting a police officer and his horse and a scavanger hunt.

The Moravian Museum, with new exhibit rooms, will reopen March 23 with regularly scheduled hours. Call 610-691-6055 or visit www.historicbethlehem.org for information on all of the events.
