Trevor Schneck, 33, a lifelong resident of Emmaus and a graduate of the Emmaus High School class of 1998, is announcing his candidacy for Emmaus Borough Council. Schneck is co-owner of Bar None Weddings & Entertainment and resides in Emmaus with his wife Amanda where they own a home and are raising their two children, Peyton and Brady.
"I'm running for council because Emmaus is my hometown. It's where I grew up and where I've chosen to maintain my roots and raise my family, I'm deeply invested in our community."
Schneck hopes to lean on his business experience as a council person.
"I've been a small business owner for three years. I'm proud of the fact my partners and I started our growing business with no loans or government assistance. Our seed money came from our savings. This allowed us to grow quickly. I would approach borough matters with the same financial responsibility and zeal for results as I do my growing my business"
Being a business owner gives me a unique perspective on the community. Not only is my family's quality of life tied to Emmaus, but also my business as a wedding vendor. A healthy, robust local economy is essential."
Schneck's business partner at Bar None Weddings, Ron Beitler is also running for office in Lower Macungie Township.
