Sacred Heart Senior Living, 4851 Saucon Creek Road, Center Valley, will host a seminar on insurance changes from the Affordable Healthcare Act 6:30 p.m. A light dinner will be provided during the presentation.

March 21
The Upper Milford Historical Society will meet 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford Township Municipal Building, Old Zionsville. The topic will be "Tramps, Hobos and Other Wanderers" with Betty Krauss speaking as Wanderer Alice Reinert.
Come on out and support the local history of Alburtis, Lock Ridge and surrounding Lower Macungie and Longswamp Townships. The Alburtis Lockridge Historical Society will meet 7 p.m. at Lock Ridge Presbyterian Church, 407 Franklin St., Alburtis. Light refreshments will be served. Topics up for discussion will be 2013 board member nominations and election, the upcoming Alburtis Centennial celebration and more.
March 23
Huff's Church, Herford Township, will host an Easter story egg hunt 1 p.m. rain or shine. Come early to the lower level of the chapel to learn about the week before Jesus' resurrection before the hunt begins.
Wescosville Elementary School will host a craft and vendor sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds from table rentals and raffle tickets will be donated to Autism Speaks. For more information, call 610-969-5225.
There will be a spring craft and vendor bazaar 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Macungie Memorial Park. There will be many varied crafters and vendors, a Chinese auction and a bake sale. All proceeds will benefit March of Dimes Team Gavin and Friends. For more information, call 484-358-4346.
Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Ninth Street and Emaus Avenue, Allentown, will host an indoor yard sale 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Willow Lane Elementary School, 6135 Sauerkraut Lane, Macungie, will host a free electronics recycling event to benefit the East Penn School District's Angel Network 10 to 2 p.m.
Emmanuel Assembly of God, 1431 Lehigh Parkway East, Allentown, is hosting a community Easter egg hunt 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will also be an egg relay race, games, face painting, egg decorating, singing and more. The rain date will be March 30.
March 24
Citizens' Fire Co. #2, 1017-21 Pennsylvania Ave., Emmaus, will host basket bingo with doors opening 1 p.m. and games beginning 2 p.m. Food will be available for purchase. There will be specials and a raffle. For tickets or more information, call 610-965-2097.

Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society of Upper Milford Township will meet 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford Township building, 5671 Chestnut St., Zionsville. Zionsville resident James Baker will give a talk on Ernst Hartenfeld who was an itinerant painter of the area in the early 1900s. Hatenfeld painted landscapes of local farms and murals in area taverns in exchange for room and board.
March 27
The Emmaus Historical Society will meet 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus. The program will be "Rodale Manufacturing" including its history, departments, products and people. Former employees are encouraged to participate in this nostalgic night.
March 28
The Lehigh Valley Chapter 1371 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees will conduct their monthly meeting noon in the community room of St. Peters Lutheran Church, 1933 Hanover Ave., Allentown. A program will follow the luncheon. All current and former federal employees are invited to attend. There will be a cost for the luncheon. The Joint Emmaus Upper Milford Environmental Advisory Council will hold an educational session on South Mountain 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford Township Building, 5671 Chestnut Street. This is the second in a four part series and the theme will be "Today's Landscape: Uses and Values: From Biking to Hiking, from Water to Biodiversity."
April 18
Sacred Heart Senior Living, 4851 Saucon Creek Road, Center Valley, will host a seminar on veteran benefits 6:30 p.m. Director of Veterans Affairs for Lehigh County Tom Dye will provide information on benefits veterans may be entitled to.
April 19
Lower Macungie Middle School will host their second annual Mini-Thon April 19. The event will benefit The Four Diamonds Fund for pediatric cancer. It will be a multi-hour dance marathon where students will seek donations to help families paying for medical treatment.
April 21
Sacred Heart Senior Living, 4851 Saucon Creek Road, Center Valley, will host a program about the risk factors potentially leading to Alzheimer's disease or other related dementias. "Maintain Your Brain" will teach visitors how to live a brain healthy lifestyle with a review of certain diets, foods and exercises.
May 19
Sacred Heart Senior Living, 4851 Saucon Creek Road, Center Valley, will host a program about dementia. "Why is My Dad Doing That?" will teach about the causes of new and unusual behaviors including sundowning, wandering, hoarding, hallucinations, delusions, repetition, aggression and sleep issues.
