Lloyd Confer, 68, of Kutztown, died March 6, 2013, in the Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

He and his wife Linda S. (Hartman) Confer celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary last May.

Born in Alburtis, he was a son of the late Warren H. and Miriam G. (Haas) Confer.

He worked part time for the Parkland School District for seven years until retiring in June 2010.

He previously, worked for the former Schaffer Brewery for 27 years and before that Atlas Mineral Company for 10 years.

He was a member of the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Mark L. and his wife, Kristina, of Alburtis; daughter Pamela S., wife of Christofer Fenstermacher, of Allentown; brothers Eugene R., Richard L., Ronald P., William E., Donald J., Carl K., Robert C., and David S.; sisters Margaret Rohrbach, Shirley Kramer, Mary Fogelman, Marion Hinnerschitz, Dorothy Keefer and Susan Haberle; grandchildren Kelcie, Brian, Jeffrey and Brandon.

He was predeceased by a brother Warren R. and sister Janet Pauley.
