Joan Fallon, 83, of Luther Crest Community, South Whitehall, formerly of Philadelphia, died March 7, 2013, in Luther Crest Health Center.

She was the wife of the late George A. Falllon Jr.

Born June 13, 1929, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Louis F. and Dorothy C. (Hoffman) Vogt.

She was a computer programmer for the Naval Air Development Center, Warminster, for 28 years before retiring.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, where she formerly sang with the choir and was a member of the Women's Guild.

She volunteered her time at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Burn Center.

Her survivors include sons Timothy G. and his wife, Dorothy, of Salem, Ore., Michael A. and his companion, Karen B. Keller of Perkiomenville; grandchildren Matthew, Jamie, Melissa, Lindsay, Michael Jr., Benjamin and Casey Fallon and Jennifer Rupe; and great-granddaughters Hannah and Madison Rupe.
