Timothy J. Jaindl, 46, of Lower Macungie Township, died March 9, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Barbara Anne (Cline) Jaindl. The couple celebrated 20 years of marriage on July 3, 2012. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Dolly (Czekalski) Jaindl of Salisbury Township and the late Herbert Jaindl.
He was a graduate of Salisbury High School, Class of '84 where he was active in sports.
He was a PIAA basketball referee, LMYA basketball coach and former track and field coach at Salisbury High School.
He was employed as a production supervisor at B. Braun in Allentown for the last seven years. He started his career at Sure-Fit Inc. in Allentown where he worked in production for 20 years, ultimately as a quality control manager. As a youth, he was employed at Mercy Day School, located at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.
He is survived by his wife; mother; sons Steven Bryan and Gregory Robert, both at home; sister, Susan J. and her husband David Smith, of North Carolina.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or donations and checks may be made to the Tim Jaindl Camp Olympic Park Fund, c/o the funeral home, 1629 Hamilton St., Allentown, 18102.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown. A viewing will take place 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown, and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in the church.
