Lloyd Confer, 68, of Kutztown, died March 6, 2013, in the Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Linda S. (Hartman) Confer. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in May. Born in Alburtis, he was a son of the late Warren H. and Miriam G. (Haas) Confer.

He worked part time for the Parkland School District for seven years until retiring in June of 2010. Prior he worked for the former Schaffer Brewery for 27 years and before that Atlas Mineral Company for 10 years.

He was a member of the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife; son, Mark L. and his wife Kristina, of Alburtis; daughter, Pamela S. and her husband Christofer Fenstermacher, of Allentown; four grandchildren, Kelcie, Brian, Jeffrey and Brandon; eight brothers; six sisters. He was predeceased by a brother and sister.
