Driver arrested
for DUI
Robin Worthen, 50, of Lower Macungie, was stopped for alleged traffic violations on Hamilton Boulevard at Contintental Way, Upper Macungie Township, at 11:23 p.m. Feb. 26, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say.
Police allege multiple indicators of impairment were observed and Worthen was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Charges will be filed with District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie Township upon the receipt of blood test results.
Stone, wire stolen
from work site
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say a 29-year-old from Wyomissing reported five boxes of brown Environmental Stone Works fieldstone flat briarwood 10sf and five pieces of 2.5 galvanized wire metal lathe were stolen sometime between 10 a.m. Feb. 19 and 8 a.m. the next day from a construction site at 5121 Church St., North Whitehall Township.
Anyone with information about this theft is asked to contact state police at 610-861-2026.
Driver arrested
for DUI
Ankur Singh, 44, of Breinigsville, was stopped 9:55 p.m. Feb. 10 for an alleged traffic violation on Route 222 southbound at Millcreek Road, Upper Macungie Township, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say.
Police allege multiple indicators of intoxication was observed and Singh was arrested for driving the influence of alcohol.
Charges will be filed pending blood test results, police say.
Juvenile charged
with harassment
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say a 16-year-old girl from Venetia, Washington County, sustained minor injury after she was allegedly struck in the head and body by a 14-year-old girl from Middleton, Del., at KidsPeace, 5300 KidsPeace Drive, North Whitehall Township, 4:35 p.m. Feb. 18.
Charges were filed with District Judge Jake Hammond, South Whitehall Township.
Pickup hits deer
on Route 22
Frederick J. Bok, 63, of Nazareth, was driving a 2012 Honda Ridgeline pickup in the left lane Route 22 East at 6:53 p.m. Feb. 24, in Upper Macungie Township, when a deer jumped in front of the truck, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say.
Bok pulled the truck onto the right shoulder after striking the deer and the truck came to a controlled rest.
The truck was removed by Getz Towing. Bok, who was wearing his seat belt, was uninjured.
Upper Macungie Township Police assisted at the scene.
