Kathleen L. Neupauer, 65, of Auburn, Schuylkill County, formerly of Germansville, died Feb. 28, 2013, in her home.

She and her husband Joseph R. Neupauer celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on Sept. 22, 2012.

Born Dec 26, 1947, in Neffs, she was the daughter of the late LaRoy S and Thelma E.L. (Werley) Mantz.

She formerly was a freelance writer for the Northwestern Press, last working in 2005.

Prior to that, she was an accountant in various industries.

She was a member of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Chantelle M. at home; sisters Darleen L. Feichtel, Jane E. Meyers, Janice A. Moses and Diana S. Back; many nieces and nephews.
