James R. Lynch

James R. Lynch, D.D.S., 61, beloved husband, father, grandfather, died peacefully Feb. 27, 2013, in Fellowship Community, Whitehall, with his loving and dedicated family constantly by his side.

Born in Titusville, to William W. Lynch of Pittsburgh and the late Martha (Madden) Lynch who died in 2006, he was the husband of Mary L. (Raymond) Lynch for 25 years, since their marriage on April 4, 1987.

He was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall, where he was a member of the Baptismal Preparation Team, a Eucharistic Minister, and was co-founder of the annual spaghetti dinner for St. Elizabeth Regional School.

He was a member of The American, Pennsylvania and Lehigh Valley dental associations and Fullerton Fire Co. No. 1.

A graduate of Titusville High School, the University of Pittsburgh and Temple Dental School in 1980, he was a much loved and popular dentist in Orefield from 1990 until retiring in 2011 due to his illness.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by son Thomas; daughters Felicia and Meredith Matejicka and her husband, Scott, along with their son Wyatt James; brother Mark Lynch and his wife, Simone; sister Lois Caputo and her husband, James; Mary's parents Mary and Felix Raymond; brothers-in-law and their families, including a host of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Brian.

Contributions may be made to the family for a future memorial, with checks payable to Mary Lynch.
