William Mihala

William Mihala, 93, of Salisbury Township, died March 3, 2013, in ManorCare, Allentown. He was the husband of Beatrice (Rastocky) Mihala. They were married 69 years in October. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Michael and Anna (Juracek) Mihala.

He was employed in the open hearth division of the Bethlehem Steel Co. before retiring.

He was a former Salisbury Township commissioner.

He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

An avid camper, he held the distinction of being the first and oldest camper at Baker's Acres, Tuckerton, N.J.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Cynthia and her husband John Zettlemoyer, of Emmaus; grandchildren, David and his wife Anne, Emily and her husband Bryan; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Thomas and Lillian; niece, Shirlee and her husband Albert Neumeyer. He was predeceased by a brother, Julius.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem. Family and friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Friday.
