Michael A. Terpay, 62, of Schnecksville, died Feb. 22, 2013, in Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, surrounded by his loving family.

He and his wife Julie (Jensen) Terpay celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on Sept. 1, 2012.

Born Aug. 23, 1950 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Mike and Betty (Feichtel) Terpay.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He owned and operated Terpay Trucking Inc., Schnecksville, for the last 23 years.

Since May 2012, he was operations manager of LifeStar Response, Norristown.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons Matthew Michael and his wife, Kristen, of Baltimore, Md., Adam C. at home; siblings Patricia A. Marvel and her husband, David, of Milford, Del., Jon R. and his wife, Nanette, of Gilbert Ariz., Michelle E. Seidel and her husband, Randy, of Emmaus, Candice M. Benson of Indiana; many nieces and nephews; one great-niece.

Services were private. There are no calling hours.
