GOV. WOLF: Antique show opens March 2,3

Governor Wolf Historical Society's fifth annual benefit antique show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 2 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 3 at 6600 Jacksonville Road. The 18th century Ralston McKeen House, the Governor Wolf Academy and the Monocacy School will house 35 plus exhibitors featuring local primitives, furniture, textiles, folk art and more.

There will be ongoing demonstrations and tastings of open hearth cooking, and food provided by The Daily Grind of Bath.

Sunday events include lectures by Larry Hilborn about cast iron toys at 1 p.m. and Sue Iron on buying an antique quilt at 2 p.m. There will be an auction for an oriental rug, a crewel chair and original watercolors at 3 p.m.

The show is again partnering with the Heart of the Valley Antique Show, Bethlehem.
