Christopher T. Spadoni announced his candidacy for Northampton County judge last week.
A Martins Creek native, Spadoni has served county residents as an attorney since 1976, and for the last 25 years has been solicitor for Lower Mt. Bethel Township supervisors and planning commissioners.
Spadoni said in his statement the county is strong and vibrant becasue of its people, businesses and neighborhoods. "The legal system of Northampton County is most important in preserving this excellence," he said, and it is "one of the best in protecting citizens' rights, keeping our neighborhoods safe and maintaining safe workplaces. Northampton County is a wonderful and special place to raise a family."
Spadoni is a graduate of Easton Area HS, Lycoming College and the University of Akron School of Law. He serves as Bethlehem and Easton tax appeal hearing officer and Stockertown Zoning Hearing Board solicitor.
Spadoni is currently an assistant Norhtampton County solicitor representing county civil, criminal and orphans' courts, register of wills, revenue commission and sheriff's department.
