Helen Proud, 67, of Allentown, died February 23, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospice inpatient unit, Allentown. She was the wife of Tom Proud. They were married for 47 years. Born in Czech Republic, she was a daughter of the late Jakob and Katarina (Thomay) Tremba.

She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Macungie.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Connie L. and her husband Paul Hummel; son, Mark E. and his wife, Tracy (Schnucker); brothers, Reinhold Tremba and his wife, Stefka, and their daughter, Julia, and Siegfried Tremba. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Lee.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Concordia Lutheran Church, 2623 Brookside Road, Macungie. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
