Eleanor R. Fredericks, 92, formerly of Macungie, died February 19, 2013, in Arden Courts, Lower Macungie Township. Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Otto L. and Bertha M. (Kokat) Fredericks.

She graduated from Mahanoy City High School and was a 1940 graduate of McCann School of Business, Mahanoy City. She was employed at Mack Trucks Inc., for over 40 years, retiring in 1981 as the executive secretary for the vice president and controller at the world headquarters. Previously, she was the secretary for the controller at the Allentown plant.

She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown, and former member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown and Christ Lutheran Church, Mahanoy City.

She was a former member of the National Secretaries Association for 20 years and a member of AARP Chapter #3331, since 1981.

She is survived by sisters, Alma C. Soraruf, B. Irene Carli, of Allentown; nieces; nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Emma M. Schey; brother, Harold O.
