Both of Parkland's Valley Elementary Wrestling League Varsity teams wrapped up their years at the league's season-ending tournament held February 9-10 at Freedom High School.

Parkland Gray had five wrestlers place in the top eight, while Parkland Red had three earn medals.

The top wrestler from Parkland was Red's Brandon Kassis, who took second place at 80 pounds. Teammate David Polanki earned a third place medal at 120 pounds and Parkland Red's Dalen Hartzell was seventh at 58 pounds.

Joe Guida was the top Parkland Gray finisher, taking third at 105 pounds. At 95 pounds, fellow Gray wrestler Raael Avizof was fourth. Both Nathan Kresge (54 pounds) and Nicholas Bower (90 pounds) earned eighth place finishes for Parkland Gray.
