Mary Vitovitch, 85, of Northampton, died Feb. 3, 2013, in Northampton Village. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Vitovitch.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Deutsch) Grol.

She was a sewing machine operator for the Billera Brothers for many years.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church. She was a former member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by two sons, Frank J. and his wife Ann of Northampton and Joseph of Whitehall; four grandchildren, Staci and her husband Dan Shortell of Slatington, Amy and her husband Tom Sandholm of Slatington, Frank Vitovitch of New York City and Karla and her husband Matt Fedorak of Allentown; four great-grandchildren, Ashli, Jeremy, Joshua and Erin; a sister, Elsie Bolognia of Northampton; a brother, Dennis Grol of Coplay; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by four sisters, Helen Barket, Rose Kremsner, Theresa Christman and Agnes Solderitch.
