Bruce D. Ruppert, 49, of Allentown, died suddenly Feb. 12, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Rebecca R. (Reiss) Ruppert celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary May 18, 2012.

Born Dec. 15, 1963, in Allentown, he was the son of Mae I. (Roth) Fitzgerald of Germansville and the late Daniel Ruppert.

He was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville.

He was an active member of the Sons of Liberty of the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215.

In addition to his wife, mother and stepfather William J. Fitzgerald, he is survived by siblings Wayne D. Ruppert of Orlando, Fla., Vern G. Fitzgerald and his wife, Carla, and Peggy L. Evert and her husband, Terry, all of Germansville; stepsisters Diane, Donna and Debbie; several nieces and nephews.
