Whitehall Wawa store employee Danielle Meltsch won the gingerbread house contest held by the store. Employees, who were required to remain anonymous, created gingerbread houses and then allowed customers to vote for their favorites. Meltsch received 416 votes. Store employee Chuck Jaeske came in second with 392 votes and employee Susan Plank came in the third with 292 votes. A total of 1,468 votes were cast.
