Dr. William M. Baringer, 82, of Macungie, died February 12, 2013, in Lehigh Center. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Dissinger) Baringer, with whom he celebrated 45 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William G. and Delma (Mengel) Baringer.
He was a graduate of Allentown High School, Muhlenberg College, Temple Dental School, and received his orthodontic degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
He was an orthodontist for many years in Allentown and Emmaus.
He was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church.
He was a member of the Lehigh Valley Dental Society, the PA and Lehigh Valley Association of Orthodontists, and was a member and past president of the Emmaus Rotary Club and a former member of the Allentown Rotary Club.
He honorably served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict in the Dental Corps.
He is survived by his wife; son, Brian W. and his fiancee, Liz, of Roanoke, Va.; daughter, Brenda L. and her husband Chad Tomsheck, of Pittsburgh; sister, Carolee and her husband Raymond Baker, of Emmaus; grandchildren, Connor, Adam, Lauren, and Madeline and Griffin Tomsheck.
