Thomas W. Paxson, 74, of Allentown, died peacefully Feb. 6, 2013, inCedarbrook surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William A. and Hilda E. (Roth) Paxson.

He and his wife Maryrose (Donahue) Paxson were married 52 years on April 23, 2012.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown.

A 1956 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, he proudly served in the US Army.

He returned home and worked many years as a technician in the plating department of General Electric, Allentown.

He retired in 2000 as a courier for the former Southeastern Clinical Laboratories.

He enjoyed bowling with the GE league.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Kathleen Ann Paxson and Karen Beth, wife of Richard Jennings Jr., all of Allentown; son Thomas F. and wife, Cindy, of South Whitehall Township; grandchildren Ashley Hennessey and husband Adam, Melissa Snyder and husband Ben, Samantha, Daniel and John Jennings;
