The Quota Club of Northampton is holding its annual oldies dance Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Northampton Memorial Community Center, 16th Street and Laubach Avenue.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and a dinner buffet will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Proceeds will help a local family with a child fighting cancer.

A book talk and signing by Bud Cole, author of "The Mystery of Little Bear," will be held 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at the Northampton Area Public Library, 1615 Laubach Ave. The program is recommended for children 8 years old through adult.

The L & N Pool League will be holding its annual benefit tournament noon Saturday, Feb. 23, at the American Legion Post 353, 1469 Dewey Ave.

This charity fundraiser is for Lisa Slough-Smothers, a single mother of three who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

A Chinese auction will be held 1-5 p.m. You need not be present to win.

Other highlights include a bake sale, raffles and refreshments.
