Marion A. Betz, 87, of Orefield, died on Feb. 11, 2013, in Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the widow of Carl H. Betz.

Born in Haafsville, she was a daughter of the late James and Florence (Heil) Wenner.

She worked beside her husband in the family business Carl H. Betz, Inc. and was employed for several years at the Orefield Post Office.

She was a member of Morgenland Church, Orefield.

She was affiliated with the Crippled Children's Society, Heart Association and other social agencies.

Her survivors include sons Barry C. and wife Carol, Gavin L. and wife, Sharon, all of Orefield, Darryl J. of New Tripoli, Randy S. and wife, Cindi, of Mohnton and Kevin W. and wife, Christine, of Slatington; brother James and wife, Irene, of Lehighton; sisters Lucille Williams and Rose, wife of Kenneth Higgins, all of Allentown and Judy, wife of Robert Wilson, of East Greenville; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Miers Wenner.

Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Feb. 16, in Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, with the Rev. Sally Zelker officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
