Eugene Dimovitz, 61, of Breinigsville, died Feb. 10, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital.
He and his wife Melanie D. (Derr) Dimovitz were married 37 years Dec. 20, 2012.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Rose Dimovitz.
A retired equipment operator for Kraft Foods, he previously worked at Bonney Forge and Sondra Manufacturing.
He was a member of Macungie Christian Community.
He was a past president and very active member of Western Lehigh Lions Club.
Having an avid interest in baseball, he was a softball player for Sondra Manufacturing, Bonney Forge and St. Paul's and Jordan Lutheran churches, and was a coach for Milford in the Tri-County League and for B-Vets teams, Breinigsville.
The Steelers and Pirates were his favorite pro teams.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Zachary E.; uncle, Edward S. Dimovitz; two nieces and a nephew.
Services will be 11 a.m. Feb. 15 in the church, 126 Church St., Macungie.
Calling hours are from 7-8:30 p.m. Feb. 14 and from 10-11 a.m. Friday, all at the church.
