Althea M. Hatcher, 88, of Trexlertown, died on Feb. 8, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.

She was the wife of the late Porter L. Hatcher.

Born March 28, 1924, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late David J. and Mabel (Warmkessel) Kemp.

She was employed as an invisible reweaver at Genesco, formerly Phoenix Clothes, Allentown, for 26 years before retiring.

Her survivors include children Lynette L. Le-Peyre and her husband, Jean, of New Jersey, Patricia L. Wipple of New York, Rodney W. and his wife, Darlene, of Walnutport, Eugene D. of New Tripoli, Wanda E. Blue from Nazareth; brother Robert Kemp of California; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers Paul and John.

Private funeral services will be held in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Schnecksville. No public calling hours.

Interment will follow the service at Morgenland Cemetery Association, Salisbury Township.
