Marianne L. Sickonic, 55, of Macungie, died in her home on February 3, 2013. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Dorothy M. (Jones) Allender of Macungie and the late Arthur A. Allender.

She was the sole caretaker of her mother for many years. She was a loving and devoted mother to her sons, Michael, of Allentown, and Matthew, of Bethlehem.

She is survived by her mother; sons; brothers, Paul Allender and his wife Linda, of Allentown, Todd Allender and his wife Sandy, of Orefield, sister, Susan E. Knerr, of Durham, N.C.
