Laila M. Arndt, 96, from Kutztown, died Jan. 30, 2013, in Reading.

She was the widow of Edward F. Arndt.

Born in Weisenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Llewellyn and Minnie (Grim) Danner.

A farmer for many years in Weisenberg Township, she sold Stanley and Fuller home products at Leesport Auction for more than 30 years.

She also sold household items for 22 years and worked at Phoenix Antique Market, Allentown, for eight years.

A member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fogelsville, she was a member of the Ladies Aide and Altar Guild.

She played piano at St. Paul's Union Church, Seiberlingsville, for 50 years.

She was a member of the Weisenberg-Lowhill Historical Society and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Kutztown Fire Company.

Her survivors include a sister Margaret Kline of Allentown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Eleanor, in 1941.
