Man found sleeping on premises

Coplay Police on Feb. 1 responded to a call at 49 S. Front St. about an unwanted person on the premises.

Patrol officers found a 48-year-old man with no known address, sleeping in the basement of the building. The man told police he had nowhere to go.

Police transported the man to the Allentown Rescue Mission for lodging, police said.

Burglary reported

A burglary brought police to the unit block of Saylor Drive Jan. 29.

Police said while the owner of the residence was out, someone forceably entered the home through the back door.

Various household items valued at $1,000 were stolen, police said.

Police are investigating.

Sirius radio stolen

A Whitehall resident reported to police shortly before midnight Jan. 31 a Sirius radio was stolen from his Jeep.

The vehicle had been parked on Hall Alley, near the Log Cabin Tavern on North Second Street, police said.

The value of the radio is approximately $110, police said.
