Mildred S. Sousa, 77, of Emmaus, died January 28, 2013, in her home. Born in Edwardsville, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Perhac) Koval.
She worked as an executive assistant for Bethlehem Steel and Merck for many years, retiring in 1997.
She was an active member of the Church of Assumption BVM, where she was a member of numerous parish ministries.
She was a devoted grandmother, avid gardener, skilled seamstress, and sang with the Sweet Adelines.
She is survived by daughters, Donna M., of Emmaus, Lori C. and her husband Imrich Gombar, of Wilmington, N.C., and Sharon C. and her husband Daniel Ravenelle, of Allentown; sisters, Susan Krivenko, of Emmaus, and Margaret Witkowsky of Yardley; companion of 30 years, Walter Pammer; grandchildren, Victoria, Sasha, Sophie, Joe and Val.
