Charles A. Huber

Charles A. Huber, 82, of Emmaus, died January 31, 2013, in ManorCare Nursing Home, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Jeane Mae (Wessner) Huber. Born in Ironton, he was a son of the late Allen S. and Mae I. (Wright) Huber.

He worked for Dubbs Co. for many years before retiring. After retiring, he was a PA State Constable for several years.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was a life member of the American Legion Post #191 and VFW Post #7088, both in Emmaus.

He was a life member of Tri-boro Sportsman of Northampton, Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club, New Tripoli, Copeechan Fish & Game Club, Schnecksville, Emmaus Flag Day Association, National Rifle Association, BASS-BASS ANGLER Sportsman Society and the Lower Milford Fire Co. #1.

He is survived by sons, Dennis C. and his wife Margaret, of Allentown, Craig S. and his wife Carol of Macungie; grandson, Christopher and his wife Staci, of Emmaus; two great-grandchildren; brother, William and his wife Alma, of Allentown; sisters, Nancy Laudenslager, of Texas, Evelyn Knauss, of Whitehall. He was predeceased by a brother, James.
