Gertrude E. "Trudy" McMullen, 88, of Bethlehem, formerly from New Tripoli, died Jan. 22, 2013.

She was the wife of the late Eugene F. McMullen.

Born July 31, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Schwarz) Schuck.

A graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Rosedale, N.Y., she worked in various professions in Manhattan, including Newsweek magazine and as a hand model in the advertising profession.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Her survivors include children Michael F. and wife Pam of Camp Hill, Patricia A. Johnston of Sarasota, Fla., Thomas E. and wife Nancy of Whitehall, Margaret M. McMullen of New Tripoli, Raymond E. and wife June of Bath, Barbara L. McMullen of Allentown, Christine C. Rothdeutsch and husband Barry of Bethlehem; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by great-grandchildren, Maggie May and Kanon.
