It was standing room only as Cub Pack 431 held their annual Pinewood Derby Jan. 19 at Bethany United Methodist Church, Wescosville. Mike Himes serves as Cub Master. Fifty-five cars participated in the derby.

Scouts receiving speed trophies included: first place - Cooper "Revenge" Hallman; second place - Ryan "Midnight Machine" Sexton; third place - Connor "Silver Bullet" Gudonis; and fourth place - Andrew "The Bear" Taskalos.

Rounding out the top 10 were: fifth place - Seth Metzger; sixth place - Ryan Himes; seventh place - Lucas Samuels; eighth place - Gabriel Buchman; ninth place - Garrett Pavlacka; 10th place - Shane Striano.

Gabriel "USA 1" Buchman received the Most Patriotic award, Ryan "Popcarn" Himes earned the Scout Spirit award, Lucas "Hedgeclipper" Samuels received Most Creative and Jimi "Rat Rod" Reckling received Most Popular.
