Jan. 31

The Upper Milford Historical Society will meet 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford Municipal Building, Old Zionsville. The topic will be "Classy Collectibles with John Herbein." The public is welcome to attend and refreshments will be provided. For more information, call 610-966-4851.

Feb. 1

The Emmaus Arts Commission is hosting SnowBlast Winter Festival throughout Emmaus Feb. 1 and 2. The seventh annual SnowBlast will include a 5 p.m. Friday night kick-off on the Triangle with sculpted ice demonstrations, entertainment, an ice bar and many other activities. The full celebration schedule and activity times will be posted on the Emmaus Arts Commission website, www.emmausarts.org.

The Emmaus Historical Society will be open 5 to 9 p.m. during SnowBlast Winter Festival. The building will be decorated with winter displays. Learn the story of "The Snowflake Man" and see photos of local blizzards, including the Great Blizzard of 1888. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.

Feb. 2

The Emmaus Historical Society will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during SnowBlast Winter Festival. The building will be decorated with winter displays. Learn the story of "The Snowflake Man" and see photos of local blizzards, including the Great Blizzard of 1888. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.

Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church and Preschool, 2623 Brookside Road, Macungie, will host an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner 4 to 7 p.m. The proceeds will benefit the preschool. Call 610-965-3265 for tickets and reservations.

Feb. 3

Lower Milford Fire Company #1, 1601 Limeport Pike, Coopersburg, will host a breakfast buffet 8 a.m. to noon. Kids under five eat free.

Feb. 7

The Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio Club will hold their monthly meeting 7:30 p.m. in the Bethlehem Township Community Center, 2900 Farmersville Road, Bethlehem. Allentown AARP Chapter 5315 will meet noon at St. Timothy's Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown. The program will be the entertainers, "The Country Jades." A business meeting will follow. Bring a nonperishable food item for the Allentown Food Bank. Call 610-437-4265 for more information.

Feb. 12

Lehigh County TRIAD will meet 8 a.m. at Emeritus, 1545 Greenleaf Street, Allentown. There will be a free continental breakfast followed by a guest speaker and the regular meeting. The speaker will be the new Allentown Rescue Mission CEO Chris Aylward.

Feb. 13

The Verizon Telecom Pioneer Club will hold their monthly meeting, with the installation of 2013 officers, 1 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Whitehall. Please bring nonperishable food for the food bank.

Feb. 16

Old Zionsville UCC Church, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville, will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet and bake sale 7 to 11 a.m. There will be a cost for guests six and over for breakfast. The public is welcome to attend. For information, call 610-966-5115.
