Upper Macungie Township Police report a home in the 9000 block of Newtown Road was burglarized sometime between the afternoon hours of Jan. 17 and the early morning hours of the next day.

Entry to the home was made by breaking a rear window and entering through a door.

No one was home at the time of the burglary during which jewelry was stolen.

Police say the case remains under investigation.
