Burton C.G. Stettler, 87, of Allentown, died Jan. 17, 2013, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
He and his wife Ellen J. (Parry) Stettler were married 62 years.
Born Jan. 26, 1925, in Chapmans, he was the son of the late Walter G.L. and Miriam E. (Wertman) Stettler.
He was a self-employed appliance repairman.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a former volunteer firefighter for the Fogelsville Fire Company and also assisted with the Ladies Auxiliary in the banquet and kitchen facility.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Dale K.L. and wife, Carolyn, of Germansville; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Marvin W.R.
