Irene D. Frey, 93, of DevonHouse Senior Living, formerly of Emmaus, died January 9, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Wilbur E. Frey, who died in 1998. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late George and Julia (Bodak) Lipyanik.

She is survived by daughters, Betty Jane Skrivanek and Linda J. and her husband Edward Kleimola; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Nonnemacher and Eleanor Stauffer; brother, John Lipyanik; daughter-in-law, Mary Frey Green. She was predeceased by sons, David K., who died in 1990, and Richard R. who died in 1937, son-in-law, Robert Skrivanek, six sisters and three brothers.
