Debra A. (Oswald) Kocher, 49, of Allentown, died January 15, 2013, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of James C. Kocher. They celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary last June 14. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Herbert E. Oswald of New Tripoli and Anna M. (Kiser) Neulin of Allentown.
She was employed as a seafood manager at the former Laneco in Dorneyville for 15 years, last working in 2001.
A member of the National Youth Sports Coaches Association, she was a member of the Orefield Athletic Association coaching OAA softball for 10 years. She was instrumental in the formation of the Mallory Bomboy Tournament.
She was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1981.
She is survived by her husband; parents; daughters, Kelly L. and her husband Rafal Mrozowski, and Kasey L., both at home; twin sister, Donna M. Kulp, of Slatington; brother, Michael J. Oswald, of Greentown; stepmother, LaVerne M. Oswald; stepfather, Dennis L. Neulin. She was predeceased by a son, Jacob J., who died in 1993.
