Township 28
Six Gray wrestlers got pins as to lead a 30-point win over Bethlehem Township in Week 5 of VEWL action.
Parkland wrestlers took nine of 15 contested bouts in the win, also picking up a pair of forfeits.
Trey Spring kicked off the bout with a pin at 46 pounds and Blake Bednar helped build the lead with another at 54 pounds.
Bethlehem Township fought back, but Parkland began to gain control when Bryan Diaz started a four-bout win streak at 70 pounds with another fall. Jeremy Piatkiewicz added a pin at 76 and Parkland Gray was on its way to a win.
Nathan Broadhead (95) and Justin Schnekel (160) helped solidify the upper weights, each winning their matches by fall.

Catasauqua 39
The middleweights carried Parkland Red to a slim victory over Catasauqua in last weekend's VEWL varsity action.
Catty won four of the first five bouts, but Luke Yatcilla began a Parkland run with a major decision at 64 pounds.
Nico Medlar (67), Ty Tremba (70) and Lucas Kern (73) helped the Red back into the match with three straight pins following Yatcilla's win.
Xavier Rolon (80) and Brandon Kassis (85) each earned six points, with Rolon pinning his opponent and Kassis winning by forfeit.
Catasauqua, however, moved into a slight lead with just two bouts remaining, but a pin from David Polanki at 120 and a forfeit win at 160 from Zach Fitzgerald gave Parkland the 11-point victory.

PYC 32, Northwestern 29
Connor Neith led PYC to victory with eight rebounds and another good defensive effort during a hard fought game against Northwestern.
Lukas Dashukewich and Zane Ankrom were also big on the boards with five rebounds each.
Ryan Dugan led all scorers with 10 points followed by Trey Rolle's eight points as PYC moved to 4-1 on the season.
