Rose M. Keppel, 88, of Coplay, died Jan. 3, 2013, in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Frank F. Keppel Jr.

Born in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Frisch) Rothdeutsch.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former J & J Sportswear, Northampton.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by two sons, Francis and his wife Carol and David and his wife Catherine, all of Northampton; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; and three sisters, Mary Faust of Fla., Emily Hornak of Northampton and Ella Schloffer of Coplay.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Frank, Charles, Joseph, August and Alfred Rothdeutsch.
