Louis DiMiceli, 98, of Whitehall, died Jan. 1, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Antonina D. (Damiano) DiMiceli for 66 years.
Born in Tickfaw, La., he was a son of the late Biaggio and Frances (Spinnella) DiMiceli.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the recipient of two bronze stars.
He was a tool and dye operator for the former Western Electric, Allentown.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 739, Hokendauqua.
He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay, and of its Holy Name Society.
He is survived by a son, Blaise A. and his wife Barbara of Slatington; a daughter, Frances Ann and her husband Walter Sajkowicz of Whitehall; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
