Lehigh Carbon Community College "Tri-Cees" community chorale is seeking people from the community who share a passion for music and derive joy from singing with others.

From college students and young adults to senior citizens, the Tri-Cees study and perform choral music in a wide variety of genres.

The Tri-Cees sing Broadway, popular standards, gospel, pop, rock, world music and everything in between.

Music reading skills and choral technique such as listening, blending, intonation and diction are developed during rehearsal.

No previous musical training is required but it would be helpful. The group performs at least one concert at the end of the semester.

Free classes are offered Mondays from 7-8:30 p.m. Jan. 14 to May 6.
