Ruth Caroline Boyd, 92, of Macungie, formerly of Alburtis, died December 29, 2012, at home. She was the wife of the late Howard K. Boyd who died in 2003. Born in Wescosville, she was a daughter of the late Harry C. and Barbara I. (Rupp) Diefenderfer.

She and her late husband spent over 60 years farming in the Lehigh Valley.

She is survived by daughters, Suzanne Enright, of Horsham, and Barbara E. of Macungie.
