Homer H. Hetrick, 87, formerly of Zionsville, died December 31, 2012, at Pennsburg Manor. He was the husband of Virginia (Batman) Hetrick. Born in Kraussdale, he was the son of Herman and Eva (Kulp) Hetrick.

He worked for the Tyler Pipe Co. of Macungie, retiring in 1987.

He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Bechtelsville and the Upper Milford Western District Fire Co.

He is survived by his wife; son, Larry H. and his wife, Gayle, of Emmaus; sisters, Beatrice Kohler, Violet and her husband Victor Haberle, Francis "Penny," Alma and her husband Allen Carl; two grandchildren, Pamela and her husband Donald Marshand, Brad and his wife Julie; five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon D.; brother, Norman; sister, Kathryn "Cassie" Miller.
