Evelyn M. (Gehman) Albee, 91, of Macungie, died December 25, 2012, in Woodland Terrace. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Albee. Born in Egypt, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Erma G. (DeLong) Gehman.

She was a 1939 graduate of Allentown High School.

She worked as an executive secretary for Lehigh Consistory, Muhlenberg College, General Electric and the Navy Department at Bethlehem Steel during World War II.

She attended Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville.

She is survived by a son, Robert E. Jr. and his wife, Nita, of Palm Desert, Calif.; daughter, Peggy A. and her husband Steven Vance, of Macungie; brother, Robert W. Gerhman Jr., of Nazareth; sister, Margaret Hersh, of Denver, Colo.; granddaughter Bryn E.; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her companion of 12 years, Fred Montz.
