Donald I. Hallman, 78, of Emmaus, died December 29, 2012, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. He was the husband of Virginia M. (Rohrbach) Hallman. They observed their 59th wedding anniversary on Christmas Day. Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late Luther P. and Lillian I. (Praetorius) Hallman.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife; son, Michael and his wife Grace; sister Elizabeth Dreas; brother Albert; granddaughter, Lindsay Wirth; great-grandsons Charlie and Marshall.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Jan. 4 in the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday.
